We visited Jared at work today for lunch. Parker got a new "big kid" skateboard helmet and a quick lesson on the ramp. He was pretty excited even to just roll around on his butt--we'll have to bring him by more often to see if he really wants to learn some more.

The Pringle/Prindle Family Genealogy
Wiggle Worm
Levi is on the move!...Well, not really, but he sure wishes he was. He is getting so squirmy lately, I think he is getting anxious to move around on his own. He's kind of in an inbetween stage where he can't sit up by himself or crawl yet, but he's got a real desire to get moving and do things. For example, as long as he was rested and fed, he used to be perfectly content to sit in his car seat next to us as we ate breakfast or lunch or dinner. However, as you can see in this video, he only lasts about 30 seconds in his car seat before he tries his best to squirm his way out! It's hard to figure out what to do with him to keep him happy these days!

Some photos from the Crash and Burn job.
The Weisscam and a frame grab from it. Imagine her falling through the glass in super super slo motion. I was in charge of this camera that probably cost as much as our house. It was fun and created a pretty amazing image.
Work Stuff

It's been said that I don't discuss what I do everyday from 9am to 6pm. I'm not going to start here now but I'll add this photo. It's just a tiny portion of the items that Tony license's his name to. Actually these are the items you'd expect. I haven't taken photos of the bed sheets and vitamins yet.

Lego Buddies
Levi absolutely loves to grab at Parker's big legos--he gets so excited by them! Parker is going to have such a great lego-building companion someday. (Parker picked out this snowman stuffy from his stuffy basket for Levi to play with.)

Cousins
We celebrated the many birthdays in our family this month with the annual March Birthdays Party at Dee and Niki's house today. We lucked out with a beautiful, rain-free afternoon, and enjoyed lots of good food and wine, and fun times with the family and kids. We just needed Cousin Forest to visit from Montana so that Parker's pack 'o cousins photo could be complete! Everyone is growing up so fast. They all have so much fun playing together--it's fantastic!
Swimming in old clothes
A trip to the attic to find some of Parker's old clothes and Levi's "new" clothes was the highlight this morning. Shirts, pants, and hats came flying out of the attic to Parker's joy, and he decided to hide himself in them. I think he's just trying to get one more use out of them before he surrenders them to his brother.

7 Days in Los Angeles
I was in LA for a week shooting a TV pilot. 900 Films footed the bill for this scripted comedy about a crew of stuntmen led by Lee Majors as the "boss" of the stunt crew. It was amazingly hectic and nerve wracking being in charge of so much equipment, and being depended upon for things to go smoothly. Here's a pic of me running a $7500 a day ultra high speed (slo-motion) camera.

Thunder Thighs
Believe it or not, Parker has rarely--if ever--held Levi. I realized that today when he actually wanted to hold Levi, and as I looked at them together it dawned on me that I was looking at something I had never seen before. I think that it's a combination of factors--Parker was so sick so many times during Levi's first couple of months of life that I was always reluctant to have him touching Levi too much; plus, Parker never really showed any interest or desire to hold him! But today was different, and it was pretty cute. I know they are going to love each other so much. One day they will never remember life without each other.
By the way, doesn't Levi look enormous in this picture??! Good lord, look at those thighs. And that head--it's almost as big as Parker's!
Pity Party
Parker had his four-year old check-up on Friday, and he had to have three shots and a finger poke (to check his iron levels and cholesterol). He did such an amazing job (not a single tear shed) and I felt so bad for him that I took him to get a mini cupcake as a special treat afterwards. I must admit that I got a special cupcake, too--why is that? Anyway, they were delicious, although I realized after the fact that he would have been just as happy to have eaten an entire basket of raspberries as a treat, and maybe it wouldn't have affected his "cholesterol" as much!

Four Months Old!
Levi turned four months old today! He had a good check up with the doctor; here are his stats for this month: 16 lbs 1 oz (74%) and 27 inches long (97%)! He is a tall boy. He is right on target developmentally; he has started doing all of the typical four-month old things, like reaching out for interesting objects (makes doing things while holding him a lot trickier now!), grabbing toys, talking up a storm, and rolling over from front to back and back to front. He is always full of smiles, and is definitely ticklish--that's the only way I've really been able to get him to laugh so far! He is sleeping really well at night now, too, which is great--although lately he has been waking up by 6am on the dot! Apparently nobody informed him that he was being born into a family of late sleepers! We love you, Levi!
Evening in the Harbor
We capped off the weekend with a perfectly lovely evening in the harbor. Parker has been really enjoying riding his trike lately, and the sidewalk in the harbor is a good place for him to ride and for us to walk. We spontaneously tried a new (to us) restaurant for a Happy Hour dinner--I couldn't believe that after living here for eight years we had never eaten there before! They had outdoor seating upstairs with warm heaters and pretty, white lights and a fantastic view of the harbor. We enjoyed fish tacos and clam chowder and Pacificos; it was a perfect way to end the day and the weekend.

Birthday Swing
I have a bunch of pictures from Parker's birthday party this weekend that I will post later. Here is my favorite shot...it was a wonderful, fun, sunny day at the park!
Four Years Old!
Here are a few pictures from Parker's actual birthday--he turned four on March 3rd! "Just for special" he got to wear the same Ewok shirt that he wore the day before, which still had a Happy Birthday sticker on it from his dentist visit! He got to decorate and wear a birthday crown at school, and I made chocolate chip cookies for his snack time in class that day. When we got home from school, there was a present waiting at the front door from the Mork family! Parker tore right into it and was so excited to find a new Star Wars Lego set!
Levi's First Sailing Adventure
We finally got the whole family out on Lil' P in Mission Bay last week. It was windier than we would have linked for this occasion, but we kept the jib down in the interest of comfort and took it really easy the whole time. Parker lasted about ten minutes before he went down below to sleep for the rest of the sail, and Levi followed suit soon after! May this be the beginning of many family sailing adventures to come.
