Waking Up

Levi was snoozing in my lap this evening when I was struck by how cute he looked, and wanted to take a picture of him. I tried setting him up for a photo shoot on our bed before he woke up, but by the time I started getting the camera's manual settings figured out, he woke up...and then the camera battery died. So, I'll have to try again soon for some better shots!

Cabin Fever

Gotta get out! We found some new trails but only got to explore a little bit of the many miles before it got too cold and too dark.

Pooped but we'll be back for more exploring.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Turkey art courtesy of Parker. Happy Thanksgiving 2010, everyone!

Triple Tummy Time

Once Levi's neck gets stronger, he can have his face in the picture too :)

Mr. Serious

We finally gave Levi his first bath last night...he wasn't much of a fan, but I'm sure he'll grow into the experience! He screamed through most of it, and then seemed a bit shell-shocked afterwards...

A Beautiful November

Although it happens every year, I always seem to forget that we get our best weather in the Fall--sunny, clear skies, warm days, smooth seas, and light offshore winds. We caught a beautiful sunset yesterday evening in Carlsbad.

So much free time I...

I somehow thought that could get the backsplash done while taking a week off work and helping Paige and Parker and Levi. Ha. It's funny to think that I ever thought that I could get it done. Two kids is not easy. Who would have guessed. Well I've managed to get a little time each day to measure and cut some tiles. The diagnol pattern is really testing my measuring layout and cutting skills. Slowly moving forward. Here's a pic.

Cool Guy

Wow. Parker was really feelin' it this morning! It's been fun having daddy home--he was a key component in this silliness. Parker is making his "tough guy" face in these shots; he absolutely loves these old pink sunglasses of mine--he calls them his "cool guy" glasses--he really thinks he looks so cool in them!

Oceanside Harbor

Levi will be five days old today. We took him to the harbor for his first real outing--it felt fantastic to get out of the house! The weather has been beautiful, and the harbor is one of our favorite places to be. We took Parker here in his first week of life, too :)

A Few Favorites

Parker and Daddy go for a bike ride

Parker pumping up tires and getting the bike ready.

Action shots

The local "creek" and bike trail.

We weren't the only ones from "South O" cruising the beach.

A little bit more riding and made it to the harbor.

First thing for Parker is to throw some rocks.

Then a little treat.

Someone really didn't want to waste anything.

Riding home past the pier to end our trip.
