Disappearing Act...
For some reason, all of my recent posts on the blog just disappeared when I checked in this morning to add some new photos...so disappointing. I have no idea what happened, but I wish that those posts were still here. I will try to get those photos and videos back up if I can...they were some good ones. Sad face.

Jumping, Then and Now
I am always amazed when I watch old videos of Parker--he has changed so much, while at the same time he still has all of the same mannerisms and the same personality. I found this video of him this morning from August 2009--he was still sleeping in his crib, he had blonde hair, and such a baby voice! But he already loved jumping high, blew funny kisses, and wanted to watch himself on camera immediately after being filmed. Not much has changed, while so much has changed! I guess that's growing up for ya.
The second video is from last weekend, when we went for a walk out on the Oceanside pier one evening. Parker made sure to stop along the way to the pier to do some dare-devil jumping into Daddy's arms.

Someone Needed a Little Attention...
Usually, Parker wants nothing to do with being photographed these days. However, seeing me spend too much time trying to take some pictures of Levi this afternoon must have struck a chord in him, because he started begging me to take pictures of him instead, and I got him to make a ton of funny faces for me (although, what's new there).
Sorry, Levi!
Here are some of those tears I was talking about--Parker was trying to get me to take a picture of the two of them together, but Levi was having none of it, as you can see! It didn't really seem to phase Parker, though...
Mothers day revisited
A walk along the San Elijo Lagoon. On Mothers day we drove around looking for something to do and actually attempted to go for a walk in Torrey Pines but found that we needed CASH at the ranger parking station. Cash, who uses cash? Instead of searching for an ATM or robbing an innocent bystander for $10 (it is mother day after all) we went for a free walk. Walks should be free right?
Parker and "Mama" take a break from the walk to look for jumping mullet.

It's pretty hard to get Parker to smile for photos and it's might be even harder for him to "act" normal on video. That being said, he's still pretty sweet.

Who's more cute? I'll say Paige since Parker can't read this.

An Early Mother's Day Celebration
Parker's class hosted a Mother's Day Tea for their moms today--it was so special! All of the moms came to school for the last hour of class; when we arrived, each mom had to go into the classroom one at a time, and their child presented them with a corsage that they had made. Then the whole class sang a song about loving their moms, served us all fruit salad and strawberry bread that they made themselves, and then gave us gifts they had made. The teachers and the kids put so much effort into everything, it was so sweet and I really appreciated it. Parker's corsage presentation made me a little teary :) It was great getting to spend a little bit of one-on-one time with Parker, which we don't get much any more these days!
