Mimi and Grandpa Niki got Parker an awesome blow-up bouncy house for Christmas--it is SO much fun! He loves jumping in it, and had no qualms whatsoever about throwing himself face first down the slide from the get-go! It seems like the perfect outlet for all of his excess energy, and I much prefer it to his love of jumping into a pile of couch cushions strewn across the living room floor!
Poor Parker...I was trying to read to him from his new Cat in the Hat book, but Levi started screaming...so Parker just covered his head with a pillow. He peeked out for this picture...
After days and days of rain, we awoke to a beautiful, sunny Christmas Eve. It was a perfect day to visit Quail Botanical Gardens with Ian and Krista and Forest. We showed them some of our favorite spots, and they got some pics of Forest celebrating his 10-month birthday!
Parker and Forest love each other already :) Forest was so excited to see him every day, reaching out to Parker with a big smile on his face. Parker thought Forest was so funny, and loved making him laugh; He still talks about Forest and all of the silly things Forest would do. It will be so much fun when they're a little bit older and can play together even more! They make good cousins :)
I was trying to sort our massive mountain of laundry one day, and turned around to find this...not exactly what you would call being "Mommy's helper"!! No wonder I never seem to get anything done around here :)
