Leaps and Bounds!
Levi is making huge progress in the water this year! The last time we went to the pool, he went underwater by himself probably twenty times--and I mean alllll the way under, not just a quick dip of the face! I was amazed...I'm going to bring the underwater camera today and see if I can get a view from below!

They Love Each Other!
I captured a moment of genuine mutual love, happiness, and enjoyment between these two in the pool yesterday. Parker was holding onto Levi and pulling him around in the water, and they were both so happy and having so much fun--their smiles are very real here. Levi didn't have his floaties on, but totally trusted Parker, and Parker was being so careful with him. They continued playing happily together once we got home and for the rest of the evening. So great!

Cooking with Levi!
Making roasted tomatillo salsa! He did a lot of the work himself--green salsa is a favorite of both of the boys, so I figured it'd be fun for them to eat salsa that they made themselves! And Levi definitely loves to cook.

Summertime Happiness
It's hard to see, but that's Parker getting ready to stand up on his boogie board, riding a wave. He is so ready to learn how to surf!
Levi really felt like he learned how to boogie board on this day! And he really did...the conditions were perfect, nice and shallow low tide, mellow waves, super warm water. He was able to get out there a bit and actually catch the waves himself. He fell off a few times and rolled around in the water a bit, but it was shallow enough that he could just stand up and shake it off. He was so happy and excited!
Dinner on the docks before meeting Jared and Parker on the Montgomery for an evening cruise.
Levi went through a phase for a couple of weeks where he would pile dozens of stuffed animals around his head at night to make him feel safer.
Parker looking very dapper at dinner...he got a great haircut a couple of weekends ago!
Parker learned how to snorkel the first time he tried it out at the pool--he's a total natural! He'll just swim around like this forever without coming up.
